Purple Raspberry Royalty is one of the largest and sweetest of all the purple raspberries, making it the King of Raspberries. When the fruit is ripe, it is a soft purple color, has a light fresh taste and is ideal for making outstanding jams. This high yielding plant is cold hardy (zones 4-8), ripens in mid-July to August, grows to 4-5′ tall and is self pollinating.
A sure sign of summer! Raspberries (Rubus idaeus x) are not only delicious, they are rich in antioxidants, high in vitamin C, manganese and dietary fiber.
