Shipping Policy

We will process and ship orders for each future shipping period as close to your preferred ship date as possible, with allowances made for weather conditions and plant availability. If your item is available for immediate shipment, we will process your order to ship within 1-2 days (Mon – Fri).

We are in the business of selling plants and related gardening products. We do not build inflated shipping & handling costs into our price & offer “free shipping”. We price our plants & goods accordingly. Shipping charges reflect our best estimate of the cost to pack & ship product to you based on weight and your address.

Choosing a Shipping Date

We know weather is unpredictable and will make every effort to match your requested date with the current conditions. Please choose a date that best matches traditional planting times in your area. Dormant bare root plants can be planted a little earlier than the established plants in your area traditionally show growth in the spring.

Shipping Bare Root

When your order is scheduled to ship, your plant will be selected, professionally prepped, and packed for immediate shipment to insure maximum viability until it arrives in your hands.

Shipping Potted/Packaged

Potted/packaged plants are prepared and packaged for a head start on growth, just as you would find in your local garden center . When it’s planting time, we will pack your order in the proper shipper to insure it’s safe arrival and get it to your doorstep.

Restricted States

Most states have regulations aimed at protecting against the spread of plant pests and disease. We have made every effort to list these restrictions in the plant descriptions based on the information at National Plant Board. Based on your shipping address, your shopping cart will ask you to remove any such items if they are inadvertently placed there. Some states may allow only bare root nursery stock. While this can be frustrating, we feel it is important that together, we act responsibly in protecting our natural environment. We think you will be able to find a suitable replacement from our many offerings!
