Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii) is the best plant for attracting butterflies. Sometimes called summer lilac, its large, fragrant conical, lavender flower heads cover bush during summer months and can attract over 20 species of butterfly. They are easy to grow and generally disease free. You may have some die back during cold winters, but they will quickly regenerate from the roots. They flower on new wood so the show goes on year after year.
Mature plant reaches 4-6′.
Deer Resistant and drought tolerant.
