Jersey blueberry is one of the oldest, most widely grown and favorite varieties for home owners. It is easy to grow and it produces reliable heavy crops year after year. The berries are small to medium size, sweet tasting and is a favorite for baking. The plant grows 6-8′ tall, 5-6′ wide, is hardy in zones 4-8 and ready to harvest in August. Its foliage turns flaming orange in the fall which is very attractive. For larger crops, pollinate with Blue Crop or Berkley.
